Rolland F. Perry City Forest encompasses more than 680 acres of wildlife habitat and working forest in Bangor, Maine, and features more than 4 miles of access roads and more than 9 miles of trails for running, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. It is owned by the city of Bangor and open throughout the year.

The Orono Bog Boardwalk is open for the season. From May through August, the hours are 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For September, the hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. From Oct. 1 through Nov. 1, the hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. From Nov. 2 through Nov. 30 or until the first snowfall, the hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is at the Tripp Drive gate, off Stillwater Avenue.

A new feature of this site is the introduction of podcasts. Podcasts are available at the Multimedia and News pages. To listen online, simply click on a podcast's link. If you want to take a podcast with you, right-click on the link of the podcast you want. Podcasts are limited to personal use only and may not be rebroadcast without written permission. All podcasts will be in MP3 format.

The forest is accessible via Kittredge Road and Tripp Drive. Kittredge Road is at the intersection of Hogan Road and Stillwater Avenue, near the Bangor Mall. Tripp Drive is off Stillwater Avenue, 1.6 miles north of the junction of Stillwater Avenue and Hogan Road, just before the kennel and concrete factory. If you're coming from the south on the interstate, you can take either Exit 186 (Stillwater Avenue) or Exit 187 (Hogan Road). If you're coming from the north on I-95, take Exit 187.

Bangor ordinances prohibit hunting at the forest and unauthorized use of motor vehicles on the access roads and trails.
